IIS Council

IIS Council

Student organizations under the IIS umbrella meet monthly to form the IIS Council. The purpose of the IIS Council is to:

  • Build a community of student leaders that promotes diversity, inclusiveness and cultural awareness throughout the TCU community
  • Discuss issues affecting organizations and organization members
  • Develop student leaders that promote and build student organizational capacity
  • Provide opportunities for collaboration
  • Share events, information and resources

As a member organization of the IIS Council, student leaders gain access to:

  • Individual and organization advising
  • Annual IIS Council Leaders Retreat and President’s Brunch
  • Additional funding for programs and events
  • CCIS conference room for programs and leadership meetings
  • Use of IIS listserv, announcement board and TV display to publicize upcoming events
  • Additional resources when available
