Student Identity and Engagement

TCU Student Identity & Engagement is a department within the Division of Student Affairs. Located in the Intercultural Center in the Brown-Lupton University Union, our mission is to cultivate student engagement and connection in a supportive learning environment. TCU Student Identity & Engagement also provides students with the necessary resources to transition into college life and succeed on campus and beyond.

The department provides support, guidance, and encouragement to TCU students, faculty and staff through a variety of services, including cultural programming, mentoring, training, and academic and community involvement. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to assist with the planning of events and programming.

The Office of Student Identity and Engagement offers a leadership program for TCU students that promotes a supportive and energizing learning environment designed to help students envision their own future. Connected-culture and Belonging Leadership Program provides engaging workshops and programs aimed to optimize students’ capacity to grow and flourish in a connected and changing world, by building their skills, knowledge, and awareness. Improvement in these areas enhances participants’ ability to value the lived experiences of all people and respect one’s inherent dignity, appreciating what each person contributes to our community. Registration into the program is not required, enrollment is automatic upon attendance at any of the workshops. Please note that this leadership program is only available to the TCU undergraduate student community.
