A Civil Rights Immersion in Montgomery

Fee – $150
In Montgomery, we will visit the National Memorial for Peace & Justice; The Legacy Museum; and other prominent places of the Civil Rights Movement. We will be better able to understand the inspiring words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who led the march to Montgomery, as well as get to know the unsung heroes, ordinary men and women who risked their lives for justice and equality.
Included in the $150 fee: Ground transportation by charter bus. Accommodations in tourist class hotels, 2 per standard room; Daily breakfast; 2 group meals during the program; Instructional materials; Official excursions and entrance fees.
Not Included in the $150 fee: Lunch and dinner on most days. Personal Expenses (recreation, tips, snacks, other personal items/services).
Payment Schedule: $75 non-refundable deposit due on September 27, 2024. Full Program Payment is due by September 30, 2024.*Payment to be made at the TCU Intercultural Center (BLUU 1012).
Eligibility Requirements:
Open to all students
Must attend the pre-departure meeting
Accommodations Lodging – Students will share a standard room at tourist class hotels with other students, 2 students per room.
Meals – The program fee includes daily breakfast at the hotel and two group
meals. Students will be responsible for their own lunch and dinner on most days.
