Mission Statement

TCU LGBTQ+ Resources is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and affirming environment for all members of the Horned Frog community regarding sexual orientation and gender identity. Rooted in the TCU values of Integrity, Engagement, Community, and Excellence, we seek to develop ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global and inclusive community.

Vision Statement

Guided by our students’ voices, LGBTQ+ Resources aims to create a welcoming and supportive environment where all LGBTQ+ students and allies feel they belong through being valued and empowered to thrive.

Our values are to:

Support: Provide comprehensive support services that address the unique needs of LGBTQ+ and ally students, faculty, and staff, ensuring their well-being and success within our community.

Educate: Promote understanding and awareness through educational programs\events, workshops, and resources that highlight LGBTQ+ experiences and issues, aligning with our commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth.

Advocate: Advocate on behalf of the voices of LGBTQ+ students within our university and the broader community, striving for equity and respect for all, in accordance with TCU’s values of integrity and community.

Celebrate: Recognize and celebrate the diversity of TCU’s LGBTQ+ community, and foster a campus culture where all individuals can express their authentic selves and feel they belong to our Horned Frog community.
