TCU LGBTQ+ Resources provides three trainings that assist faculty, staff, and students in their development of being a LGBTQ+ Ally to Accomplice. TCU Ally training series are offered for individuals, student groups, as well as staff and faculty who wish to go the extra step from just learning about sexual orientation and gender identities (SOGI) groups and learn how to actively be an ally both on and off campus. Run time: 1.0-3.0 Faculty and Staff sessions are 2 hours; Minimum 6 people/ 101-103 Student sessions are 1 hour; minimum of 6 people

TCU Ally 1.0 starts is the start of our LGBTQ+ Resource’s TCU Ally series that helps faculty, staff, and students on their journey from Ally to Accomplice. In this section, you will learn about the resources that the Texas Christian University’s LGBTQ+ Resources provides to students, and learn about LGBTQ+ identities, Pronouns, and being an Ally. TCU Ally 2.0/102
TCU Ally 2.0 is the Advocate session portion of the LGBTQ+ Resources TCU Ally series that helps faculty, staff, and students on their journey from Ally to Accomplice. In this training, you will dive into intersectionality, privilege, history, and bias. By applying your knowledge and identities you will be on your way to making a difference at TCU. TCU Ally 3.0 is the accomplice session of the LGBTQ+ Resource’s TCU Ally series that helps faculty, staff, and students on their journey from Ally to Accomplice. In this training, pride peers will be able to help you apply the knowledge gained in TCU Ally 1.0 and 2.0 through case studies and scenarios. Trans Ally is a training through the TCU LGBTQ+ Resources specifically explaining to faculty, staff, and students how to support the trans community. In this training we will go in depth discussing the multiple identities in the trans community. In addition, we will provide more detailed explanations on the marginalization of trans folks. In this training we will be discussing intersections between race, ethnicity, and a LGBTQ+ identity and allyship to members of this community. Intentional Dialogue Training is offered for all groups on campus and centers the idea of productive and intentional dialogue. We all encounter times where we find ourselves debating rather than listening to one another, and this session will provide participants the skills they need to hold critical conversations with their peers on campus and beyond. Pronoun Fluency and Inclusive Language Training is offered for all groups on campus and focuses on the importance of pronouns not just in the LGBTQIA+ community, but our society as a whole. Pronouns have such a strong meaning for how we navigate our lives – especially on a college campus – and this session will provide the opportunity to learn how we can all make an impact regarding pronouns and gender affirming language. Run time: 1 hour; Minimum 4 people

Intersectionality Training is offered for all groups on campus and all levels of understanding of the topic of intersectionality. The session is more geared towards those new to the concept, but all are welcome. The session will explain intersectionality and how it manifests in our society, where elements of intersectionality stem from, and how we can understand our own positionality in the conversation surrounding intersectionality. Run time: 1 hour; Minimum 4 people
